The Team Lead at Client Community Services, Inc. (CCSI) is a pivotal role that balances direct care with essential administrative and managerial oversight. Reporting to the Residential Program Supervisor, you will ensure the daily operations of assigned waiver service sites run smoothly while fostering an environment that empowers clients and upholds their rights.
This position is perfect for a highly organized, compassionate professional who can juggle staff coordination, program implementation, and financial monitoring while maintaining a high standard of professional integrity.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must have a working knowledge of the English language for communication with the consumers and for documentation purposes. Computer skills (Word) and basic math skills are necessary. Applicants must be able to move and lift up to 25 pounds. CCSI provides paid training!
Key Responsibilities
1. Staff Coordination & Oversight
- Assist with orientation, training, and performance evaluations for Direct Support Professionals (DSP).
- Manage staff scheduling, including filling open hours and finding coverage.
- Review staff timecards, expense reports, and weekly documentation (T-logs, ISP data, MARS) for accuracy.
- Serve as the primary contact for the on-call rotation.
2. Client Programming & Health
- Assist in developing and implementing Coordinated Service and Support Plans (CSSP).
- Ensure physical and mental health needs are met, including scheduling and attending medical appointments.
- Manage medications, including monthly MAR (Medication Administration Record) configuration.
- Plan and lead social and recreational activities based on client preferences.
3. Site Management & Operations
- Oversee household operations: menu planning, grocery shopping, and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
- Conduct monthly safety drills and inspect first aid kits and company vehicles.
- Maintain program and financial records, including managing house checkbooks and client receipts.
- Work direct care shifts, including evenings and every-other-weekend rotations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18+ for waivered settings).
- Experience: One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Skills: * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong mathematical skills for budget and finance management.
- Excellent communication skills (English) for documentation and team collaboration.
- Critical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, kneel, bend, and lift or move at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to assist non-ambulatory individuals with physical or mechanical transfers as needed.
